Keto Thumbprint Cookies with Low Carb Sugar-Free Marmalade

Cream cheese makes amazing desserts, such as cheesecakes, pies, cakes, or cookies. It’s super easy to work with it since its texture can soften using only a fork. Always choose the one with the highest fat amount. Your desserts will taste richer and it’s the perfect ingredient for the keto diet.

With all that being said, we have some easy keto thumbprint cookies with the aforementioned ingredient. They are amazingly chewy and covered with sugar-free orange marmalade.

Place all ingredients in a bowl, mix everything then divide the dough into smaller sized cookies. It’s as simple to make as that!

The glaze is the most important part here because the cookie dough needs something to be as good as it. It is sugar-free but sweet enough, so we solved the mission for perfect low-carb cookies.

You’ll never guess they don’t contain sugars or some hidden carbs. We recommend sharing them with your friends or hiding them somewhere to avoid eating them all in one sitting. The first solution may work best for all of us.

Be sure to use a brand of sugar-free marmalade that does not contain sugar alcohols. It’s best to make your own from scratch using keto-approved sweeteners. Research shows that some sugar alcohols, such as aspartame, may cause digestive upset and even increase the risk of cancer (*).

Instead, try using stevia, monk fruit, or erythritol. These sweeteners come from natural plant sources, making them easier to digest. They also have naturally-occurring antioxidants to help combat inflammation and protect against diseases.

Each has minimal impact on blood sugar levels as they pass through the digestive tract unabsorbed. They also taste just as sweet (or sweeter) than real sugar, which makes them ideal to cook with in all of your favorite recipes.
