When you follow a low-carb diet, you have to provide yourself many healthy fats, proteins, vitamins, and minerals. Nuts are a great way to ensure you get all of them in!

Walnuts are one of the most underappreciated nuts of all. They are often referred to as “brain food” because of their high nutritional profile and similar appearance to a brain.
Walnuts are a good plant-based source of omega 3 fatty acids, which have been shown to reduce inflammation, support heart and brain health, and boost immunity (*)(*). A one-ounce serving of walnuts contains 0.76 grams per serving (*).
Research shows that walnuts are good for your gut and help promote heart health by increasing good gut bacteria. They may also be able to reduce your risk of colorectal cancer (*).

Mix your bars with any different nuts like hazelnuts, pecans, cashews, etc. and try different flavors. This recipe is easy to prepare and you won’t spend much time in the kitchen. Instead of buying keto snacks such as Lily’s chocolate bars, make this keto chocolate bark ahead of time and you’ll have a healthy snack for any time a sugar craving hits!
