Our keto salad bowl incorporates several healthy keto foods, such as cheddar cheese, roast beef, egg and avocado. We recommend cooking all of your ingredients ahead of time so that all you have to do is assemble the bowl when it’s time to eat. For this reason, our bowl is a great way to use leftover ingredients that you have in the refrigerator anyway.
Make sure you use a high-quality source of roast beef. We prefer one that’s grass-fed and organic. You want it to be free from antibiotics, hormones and other preservatives.
You can also make your eggs ahead of time by hard boiling them and keeping the in the refrigerator. They make a great snack. All you have to do is peel them, slice and add to your bowl!
Radishes are a great substitute for potatoes. They are low in calories and carbs, and they provide an excellent variety of vitamins and minerals. You can also add other low-carb vegetables to this dish, such as broccoli, cabbage, or kale.
Our dressing is the best way to seal the deal. It provides a hint of sweetness with plenty of bold flavor. Make sure your apple cider vinegar is organic and unpasteurized, which means that it should contain the “mother.”
Research shows that apple cider vinegar contains antibacterial properties that help fight the common cold. The garlic also contains natural detoxifying agents to further boost the nutritional content of this bowl!
To make, start by preparing all ingredients. Cook the meat (or you can buy roast beef from the deli section), boil the egg and wash the lettuce. You can also use ham for this recipe.
Chop the avocado and lettuce and add them to a bowl.
Slice the meat and egg and add them to the bowl as well. Grate the cheddar cheese and put that in as well. Slice the radishes and add to the bowl. You can cook the radishes or enjoy them raw.
Next, make the sauce by combining the olive oil, mustard, garlic, apple cider vinegar, sweetener (optional), salt and pepper. Pour the sauce over the bowl and toss to make sure all ingredients are coated.
