Keto Fried Mozzarella Cheese Balls Low Carb Recipe

Well, on today’s menu is fried mozzarella bites rolled into coconut-almond mixture first and then fried into the oil. They are easy on the go snack or appetizer. Store them in the fridge and get a bite whenever you feel hungry. 

We add a spoon of parmesan cheese in the coconut-almond mixture to get that rich cheesy flavour that all of you adore. Always try to get the most of the recipe. That’s how you are going to experience every bite of the food on its finest.

Regular wheat flour is switched for coconut and almond flour. Researchers found out coconut flour can improve glucose and blood cholesterol when consumed like a supplement; one more reason to love those bites as they are all covered with coconut. (*)

We suggest eating these bites warm with some tomato sauce. They perfectly fit with hot spices as well. But don’t forget homemade mayonnaise and some other melted cheese. Feel free to dip them into whatever sauce you prefer. Just make sure to eat them warm because mozzarella should melt in your mouth. Yummy!

How to

Cut mozzarella into small pieces or whatever size you want.

Crack the egg and combine it in a bowl with full-fat cream cheese. Beat for a minute with a fork until everything is well mixed.

In a second bowl combine almond flour, coconut flour, salt, pepper, white onion powder and one spoon of parmesan cheese.

Coat each mozzarella cube with egg mixture, then with flour mixture.

Add olive oil in a pan just enough to cover the mozzarella cubes. Fry for a minute until the cheese turns golden.

Serve them warm with your favourite dip!
