Wash the cabbage very well and remove the stem with a sharp knife. Cut the cabbage into small pieces about two inches in length. Set aside.
Cut bell pepper in half, remove the seeds and then cut into small pieces. Mince garlic and chop onion.
Cut the bacon into small squares. We use thick slices of bacon because it tastes better for this recipe.
In a large frying pan or a wok, add olive oil in then add bacon and minced garlic. Stir fry until the bacon is cooked and golden.
Add cabbage, onion and bell pepper in. Stir occasionally for about 10 minutes until the cabbage becomes tender. Season with soy sauce (or coconut aminos for strict keto), paprika, salt, and black pepper to taste.
Once done, remove from heat and transfer to a plate. Top with green onions and toasted sesame seeds (optional). Serve warm.
